10.Rosh HaShana cover

This challah cover has been designed specially for Rosh HaShana, the Jewish New Year. In the middle, it says-in Hebrew-a good and sweet new year. Around the border are featured the "simanim"(symbolic foods)that are traditionally eaten at the first festive meal of the holiday. The very familiar apple and honey are accompanied by pumpkin, beet-greens, leek, pomegranate, carrots, dates and rubia beans.These foods represent some of our prayers and hopes for the coming year. It'll prove to be a beautiful heirloom piece that will enhance these special days.
The kit is advanced level, 40 by 50 cm. The design is hand-printed on off-white washable material, and comes with instructions and stitch diagrams, a needle and gold-colored, green, red, browwn and orange embroidery threads.
