The Inside Story

 

Each kit comes complete with DMC 6-ply cotton embroidery threads, a needle, stitch diagrams, instructions and off-white material with the design hand-printed on it in enduring HB pencil. 

 

The designs are usually printed on polyester because this type of material washes well, and bounces back quite uncrumpled after prolonged handling. However, you have the option of requesting a cotton-mix material, if you would prefer.

Either way, the embroideries should only be washed on a delicate cycle, or better, by hand. Use a cool iron, first testing on a small area at the corner of the material.

Kits that are for challah covers will need backing material of a similar size, but a lighter weight. You have the option of adding the backing material to your order, for a small surcharge.

 

We use only high-quality original DMC 6-ply cotton embroidery threads. 

The kits are attractively gift-packaged in a light A5-size cellophane envelope.
